• What is Snap-in Fixed?
• A key selling point of these indicators is the Snap-in feature. Typically, LED indicators should be secured to the surface or mounting holes. These particular models use "snap-in" technology. Quickly fastens to mounting holes without requiring additional hardware. When pushed into the hole, the plastic clasp around the side "snaps" into place to fully secure the indicator.
• Why LED?
• LEDs have many advantages. Long life and low power consumption are key features, but there are many other reasons.　Temperature — LEDs generate much less heat than incandescent or neon lights.　Directional — LEDs emit light in only one direction, reducing the need for additional components such as reflectors. However, this is not the case when LED indicators are used as circuit board signals.
