It is housed within robust and hard wearing anodised aluminium shell. Its polycarbonate lens is impact-resistant and many times stronger than plastic or glass alternatives. It is powered with 3 AA batteries (supplied) but is unusual in being able to be used with fewer batteries. Whether you have one, two or three AA batteries to hand, this torch will still work. The power indicator light turns to red when the battery power falls below 20% so you will know when you need to replace. Power switch is located on the barrel or the torch for easy access when in use. Cycle through the three modes by pressing the power button; high, low and flashing.
