- Si70xx/Si701x/Si702x Digital Humidity & Temperature Sensors. The Si70xx/Si701x/Si702x series of digital humidity & temperature sensors integrates a humidity sensor, temperature sensor, I 2 C serial interface, calibration and on-chip signal conditioning in one compact QFN/DFN CMOS package. When air comes into contact with the exposed polymide sensor, moisture in the air causes a capacitance change in the sensor resulting in the on-chip conditioning converting this to a humidity reading. This is then made available to the user over the I 2 C interface. Applications include asset and goods tracking, laptops, tablets, PLC and I/O modules, smart phones, thermostats, humidistats, wireless sensing, detection of gas, fire, smoke and water, ventilation and air conditioning.
