• A space-saving Cat5 RJ45 single-port modular jack connector offering a secure and reliable data communication solution. The RJ45 modular jack connector is equipped with a side entry (light angle mounting) or a top entry (vertical mounting). The side-entry version of this modular jack is an inverted jack face with contacts at the bottom and latches at the top. In this configuration, positioning of the alternate latch can be supported. This RJ45 jack connector type provides a shield for EMI/RFI protection and an optional substrate/panel ground. This RJ45 jack connector provides built-in line status and collision identification LEDs. Built-in LEDs eliminate the need for a separate indicator to save space on the system. The RJ45 Cat5 jack connector housing is made of UL 94V-0 flame-retardant polyester with gold-plated contacts. The jack is mounted directly on the board. Substrate mounting pegs can be used for positioning and holding support in the soldering process. All models boast high reliability and excellent quality.
