• Glow Wire Compliance (Compliant with IEC 60695-2-11). Hirose EnerBee DF22 Series 7.92mm High Current Crimp Socket Connector Housings. These DF22 Series 7.92 mm high current wire to board internal power supply crimp socket housings are part of the EnerBee range. The DF22 series has a maximum current capacity of 30A when used with 10 AWG wire. The housings of these DF22 7.92 mm crimp socket connectors feature a robust positive locking mechanism designed to prevent accidental unmating caused by drops or external shocks. When mated, a clear, tactile click is produced which confirms the connector is fully engaged guaranteeing a complete electrical and mechanical connection. This positive locking mechanism is on the centre of the housing which enables even locking and prevents cable entanglement that side locks can cause. The housing design also features various keying options to prevent incorrect insertion to the mating connector when connectors are used with the same number of positions. Moulded contact retention tabs or lances are built in to the housing instead of the crimp terminals which help prevent tangled wires during assembly. The contacts of these DF22 PCB socket housings connectors are separated by walls inside the housing giving them electrical isolation from adjacent contacts preventing short circuits. These DF22 crimp socket connectors accept resin sealing up to 10 mm without any effect on their performance. This sealing offers protection against dust and moisture penetration. These DF22 crimp socket housings can be used with contact retainers which assure complete contact insertion.
