The Just MeArm Kit from Mime Industries is a desktop robot arm which you can build with a screwdriver and then control with your choice of controller board. You can control the MeArm using the an Arduino board, Beaglebone, Raspberry Pi and many others. The code for the various boards can easily be found via Google. Designed as a fun educational project to introduce you to the world of programming, electronic and robotics. This kit requires some knowledge of programming as you'll need to set up the controller board.
