• BT224 Type Connectors
• BT224 style plugs and sockets are made of grey fiberglass polyester with high quality gold-plated contacts.
• The male header has a long lock lever that can be used to lock and release the engaged connector and molding polarity key.
• Full coverage prevents receptacle misconnections.
• The plug uses tin plated round end pins (2.54 mm pitch) to improve solderability. There are straight type and 90° type.
• The connector mounting hole dimensions are 2.55 mm, and the recommended board mounting hole size is 2.9 mm.
• The cable mounting socket uses a preload snap mechanism to ensure accurate cable alignment. It also provides quick termination to the 1.27 mm Speedbloc (R) ribbon cable.
• Ideal for bus interconnection and daisy chain applications.
• The socket consists of three parts: a socket housing with a double depth polarization groove for effective polarization, a cable positioning/locking clip, and cable strain relief.
