• Teensy is a USB microcomputer development system. It features a printed circuit board design that can be mounted directly on the breadboard by mounting pin headers. On the software side, many existing projects can be implemented. It is a proprietary development system, but you can also download Arduino sketches by installing Teensyduino, an add-in for the Arduino IDE. Besides Arduino, development tools can also be used with C compilers such as WinAVR. It runs on Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows without any special burning tools. The microcomputer is a 32 bit ARM Cortex-M4 with powerful DSP capabilities.
