63-3116-35 [Discontinued]Piezofilm vibration sensor/switch 1005447-1

Features

  • LDTM-028K is a vibration sensor/switch consisting of a 28 μm thick piezoelectric PVDF polymer film (piezo film) with silver ink screen-printed electrodes. Laminated 0.125 mm polyester substrate with 2 crimping terminals. When a laminated film element is bent, a large amount of distortion occurs in the piezo polymer, resulting in high voltage. Because the neutral axis is on the laminate rather than the film, the film becomes more distorted when bent. The device acts as a switch and the output can directly trigger a MOSFET or CMOS. It also functions as an accelerometer or vibration sensor when vibrating in free space.
