• Load cells are sensors that convert weight and pressure into electrical signals. FC2231 is 0 and span normalized for compatibility, and temperature variations between 0 and span are thermally compensated. Using our unique Microfused technology, microfabricated silicon piezoelectric resistance strain gauges are welded to high performance stainless steel pedestals using high temperature glass. It also eliminates organic epoxies, which are easily affected over time, and achieves long-term stability with zero span. FC2231 operates at very low strain, providing virtually unlimited cycle life, excellent resolution, and high overrange capability. Note that the scale range is lbf, and 1 lb is 0.45359kgf.
