DFS * fault avoidance adapter for Erecom wireless access points that maintains comfortable and stable communication in educational settings and factories by creating a wireless environment that cannot be broken even when using the 5 GHz DFS band. *When using the DFS band and detecting weather radar or aviation radar, do not disturb the corresponding radio waves, and the radio waves will stop for at least 60 seconds on normal access points.
By constantly monitoring radar waves, this product checks for available channels in advance and immediately moves to available channels even when using DFS bands.
It constantly monitors not only the 5 GHz band including the DFS band, but also 2.4 GHz charged waves such as microwave ovens, and periodically determines the most appropriate channel with high accuracy.
An external adapter type that can be additionally installed according to the needs of the usage environment.
Currently, WAB-M2133 is supported. (As of June 2018)
Elecom Access Points will be supported in the future.
