“LaCie Rugged TRIPLE USB3.0” is a portable hard disk with a unique scratch-resistant aluminum body and rubber bumper that reduces external impact.
Supports the USB3.0 standard, which provides more than 10 times the speed of USB2.0 (up to 5Gbps: theoretical). It also supports FireWire800.
A USB3.0 cable and a FireWire800 cable are included.
The LaCie Setup Assistant lets you choose the best format for your drive, depending on your operating system.
Equipped with LaCie Private/Public, a password protection utility that uses AES256 encryption technology, it provides strong protection for your important data.
A backup software that makes it easy to automatically back up data is included.
By setting the Eco Mode in the included application "LaCie Desktop Manager," the power consumption of the hard disk is reduced, and the power saving effect of up to about 40% is realized.
This product was specially designed by world-famous designer Neil Poulton.
