• Supports writing to media "M-Disc" that can keep records for a long time. Important data such as photos, music, videos and system files can be stored in a normal long-term readable state. *M-Disc needs to be prepared separately.
• Mac support. It can be used as a BD/DVD drive just by connecting it. You can install software using BD/DVD/CD media, write data from the Finder, and play commercial DVDs with Apple DVD Player. *Mac software is not included.
• Attached software uses Corel's video playback, editing and data writing software
• Video playback software: WinDVD10. Since Windows8, you can play DVD-VIDEO and Blu-ray titles that are not supported by the OS standard. You can view the rental shop/your title contents.
• It supports playback of a wide range of discs and files, including playback of dubbed digital terrestrial content, playback of AVCREC format files taken with a video camera, and playback of AVCREC discs created with a TV recorder.
• Video editing software: MyDVD. You can select videos and photos in three easy steps, add subtitles, titles and music, and create your own simple movie. It has an authoring function that can play BD and DVD discs that can be played by a player.
• Data writing software: SecureBurn. Back up photos, music, videos, and other important data on your computer to BD/DVD with easy operation. It also comes with the ability to rip audio CDs and erase discs.
• When you write to a disk, you can set a password to create a secure disk. The encryption used is FIPS 140-2 compliant and supports 256 bit AES.
