Features
- Grades with maximum ash content intermediate between ash-free and qualitative filter paper
- Grades suitable for filtration using Buchner funnel
- Properties such as high wetting strength and chemical resistance are the same as those of acid-treated ash-free hard filter paper
- Thinner and very fine crystalline precipitates can be retained. The filtration speed is low. The surface is hard and smooth, and fibers rarely break free. It can be used for both qualitative and quantitative applications for suction filtration using Buchner funnel or 3-piece filter funnel.
- It has high wet strength and is hard to tear. Taking advantage of the fact that there is virtually no separation of fibers, the electronics industry is using them as carriers for ICs.
