A digital micrometer that enables measurement in the 1 μm region in response to the need for high-precision measurement. • Mitutoyo's proprietary ABS (absolute) rotary sensor with a resolution of 0.1 μm and high-precision screw processing technology achieve a ±0.5 μm difference in the micrometer. High-precision measurement is possible with the same operability as conventional micrometers. • High-rigidity frame and high-performance constant pressure mechanism improve measurement stability. In addition, the ratchet sound provides reliable operation confirmation and peace of mind. • When performing hand-held measurements, heat transfer from the hand to the frame can be reduced by attaching a heat proof cover (standard accessory). • The ABS (absolute) rotary sensor eliminates the need for origin alignment every time the power is turned on. Reliability is also improved since overspeed errors are never generated. • Minimum display amount switching (0.0001 mm/0.0005 mm) Features function lock, preset, and other functions that support a variety of measurements.
