• Two bifurcated beams pass through different paths and are multiplexed by different half mirrors to generate interference fringes.
• It is a single-pass interferometer that passes through the sample only once because there is no reciprocation of the optical path by the mirror.
• Therefore, the measured value is twice the result of the Michelson or Fizeau interferometer. It is used to observe the transmission wavefront of a transmission sample.
